For MEXT applicants:
Regarding the Master's course program, anyone who passes the entrance exam can join our laboratory as long as the capacity allows. You do not need to contact us in advance.

Notes on Short-term Visitors and Research Students:
Since faculty members are not stationed in Kyoto, we basically do not accept short-term visitors or research students.

关于短期访问学者和研究生(非正式学生)的说明:
由于教员不在京都居住，研究室一般不接受短期访问学者或研究生(非正式学生)。

Special Notes and Advice on Cryptographic Research:
International students are not allowed to conduct research on encryption. However, they can conduct research on any other exciting topics about cryptography such as digital signatures, multiparty computation, zero-knowledge proofs, and their applications to blockchain apps and any kind of information systems. Please keep this in mind when writing your research proposal.

关于密码学研究的特别说明和建议:
外国学生不允许从事加密方面的研究。除此以外，他们可以选择任何其他密码学相关的有趣课题，如数字签名、多方计算、零知识证明，以及它们在区块链和任何类型的信息系统中的应用。请在撰写研究计划时牢记这一点。
